- Minor: adds extra screen to open device if you have lock code.
Features:
Echo Notification Lockscreen truly is a feature that should be snatched up by Google and put into default Android. At the core it’s a beautiful and elegant lockscreen that groups notifications. It has the clock, date, battery percentage, expandable or collapsible notification groups and slide to unlock functions.
Upon first use, you may be asked to grant notification permissions. Thereafter, you’ll be presented with a slick interface that shows sample grouped notifications. As yours start to roll in, the app will learn their type and automatically categorize them for you. Default categories are Priority, Social, Media, Work, and Other. You have the option to manually change the notification group too. Plus there are granular options to sort alerts in Advanced settings.
Furthermore, you have more granular controls over notification dismissals. If you’re like myself and a notification comes through at an inopportune time but you do not want to completely dismiss it you can create reminders to “echo” or “bounce back” messages at a more suitable time. To do so, swipe towards the right on a notification and choose from one of the preset times.
If you want to personalize your background, this can be done in the Settings. However linked to a static photo from your photo gallery and doesn’t support live wallpapers. My only minor gripe with this app is that if you have a lockscreen code, it adds an additional step prior to unlocking the device.
